As such, we have developed an unprecedented and unique approach/solution, a stand-alone Business Interruption Unit! During a catastrophic event, this approach takes the BI portion of the loss out of the hands of a cat adjuster and into the hands of a team of experts whose only focus is Business Interruption.

During Hurricane Katrina, we successfully managed over 6,000 commercial property losses and over 2,000 Business Interruption claims. Our immediate response, boots on the ground approach to catastrophic events is the difference we provide to our clients in establishing preliminary reserves. In a major event such as Katrina, we established a local storm office and encourage our clients to set-up a desk in that office. Our state-of-the-art claim management system provides Home Office management with up to the minute reserve information and immediate notification when a large loss is recognized. Our web-based systems eliminate redundancy and allow you instant access to our file notes and reporting.
